Event Overview

Welcome to the official Endurance Sport Regional Championship for Block A. This event brings together the top talent from schools and clubs across the Nyanza, Rift Valley, Western, and Northern regions. As a sanctioned regional event, this is the primary pathway to the National Championship at Kenyatta International Stadium later this year.

Organized by the Kitale Roller Skaters Club under the technical direction of the Endurance Kenya Federation, we are setting the stage for high-performance racing on a safe, closed-circuit track.

Race Formats & Time Requirements

Competitors will face time-based endurance challenges. The races are divided by duration and age eligibility:

• 20 Seconds Sprint: (Strictly for 5 Years & 9 Years — School Category)
• 2 Minutes Race: (Open to 5 Years & Above — Both School & Club)
• 5 Minutes Endurance: (Open to 10 Years & Above — Both School & Club)

Note: Races will be categorized by Equipment Type: Inline Professional and Recreational (Rubber wheels below 83mm).

Age Categories

Skaters will be grouped into the following age brackets for fairness and safety:

• 5 & 6 Years
• 7 & 8 Years
• 9 & 10 Years
• 11 & 12 Years
• 13 & 14 Years
• 15 & 16 Years
• 17 - 19 Years (Juniors)
• Seniors

Awards & Medals

We are committed to rewarding effort and performance. Unlike standard events that only reward the top 3, this championship uses a Top 10 Awarding System to encourage young athletes.

• Medals: Awarded to the Top 10 Boys and Top 10 Girls in every race category.
• Scope: This applies to both School and Club participants.

Registration Details

• Deadline: Early Bird Registration closes strictly on 1st March 2026.
• Participation Fee: Ksh 2,000 per participant.
• Procedure: All skaters must be registered by their Club Official or School Games Teacher via the online portal.
